bclion
I teach high school - NJROTC after retiring from the Navy - 22 1/2 years. I've been doing that for about 5 1/2 years and will retire from that in about 4 years from now. I can't see dealing with 14 year olds much past the age of 55 - I'll find something else to do then. In my previous working life, I was a cryptologist in the Navy - interesting work, and more importantly, great people. I think that when I'm done with teaching, I'd like to drive a bread truck or something, not too much stress, on the move all day and no higher order thinking; just load, drive, deliver and park it. No after hour calls, no programs to run, yea that's the ticket. I'd be bored out of my mind just sitting, fishing, etc and I don't play golf - first few rounds that I ever played was in Scotland and I didn't like it very much. So that's out. As it is, I've been spending most of my spare time developing a Sci Fi RPG and writing about astronauts. The book is nowhere near finished yet, but the early promotional blather is HERE. BZ PS. That host server for the site seems VERY punky today.
