There are more, but his ID (along with mine and a few hundred others, Thanks Bunghole :P) got wiped
out back in July of 2007. So the others aren`t so easy to find. But they are here somewhere.
Jesus, his last post was the day before he died, and it wasn't a pleasant one. What a bummer.
Indy's Wife was hesitant to give me the info. She said that's not why she came here.
We all know that. And that`s what I told her. Anyway, if anyone wants to contribute
to the trust fund . . .

The account for the trust fund is still open at Mainsource Bank ( I assume that it is in Greensburg, Indiana) it is titled under: The First Church of God, Mark Teters Memorial Fund

Also, if anyone would like to watch his tribute video, here is a direct link . . .

Thanks for posting the video and other info. Really started to tear up.

ONYX: Why are you trying to depress me, Indiana?

IndianaBengal: its a tribal ritual we all have to go through. like those kids who have to put their hand in gloves filled with fire ants to become men!!! enjoy.

Looking back at some of these posts, I'm upset that I had a part in the board erasure. I would have liked to rekindle posthumously our UK versus IU basketball rivalry...

And LOL @ "sneaky".

I just watched the video. It's sad to me somehow that a person's life can be seemingly reduced to some bits and bytes in a computer program these days, but I'm glad I watched it. If that isn't a reminder to hug your kids or Mom or Dad a little tighter next time, I don't know what is.

Goddammit.

:(

That's a very nice video. Mark was clearly so happy being with his family. this is very sad. But he'd be happy knowing he touched so many during his all-too-short time here on Earth.

I am not a frequent poster but I do remember IndianaBengal.
I am very saddened to hear of your loss.

I have just recently lost my father and see how much it has been tearing my mother apart, so
I know no words can ease the pain and grief you are going through.

My best wishes go to you, your son, and the rest of your family. I hope your faith helps you
through these hardest of times for you.

:( Again, I'm so sorry.
Thank you oldschooler, I saved those to my favorites on my computer. Yes I do remember when Mark had to start over on the posts. It bothered him that he didn't look like an old wise timer anymore with his post count. I think at that time he was at over 12.000 posts when he started over. No big deal, he was just glad to keep reading and posting.
:)

This is still hard to believe. I've been talking with him online since the John Thornton message board days. We didn't always get along, but that doesn't mean I didn't respect him and find him hilarious.

Best wishes to you, your son, and both of your families.

I just saw this unspeakably tragic news.

It took a great deal of strength to compose yourself and inform us of your indescribable loss.

I wish you the best and hope that in time you can find peace. -_-

* Moreover, feel free to chat Bengals with us fellow fans if you'd like ... as I am sure Indiana will get a kick out of it from whereever he is watching. ;)
