|Bengal Migration| Posted October 24, 2008 Report Posted October 24, 2008 Thought I'd share a handful of pics from my recent trip to Europe. The only touch-ups I've done is to shrink these down to a post-able size. Did I mention to anyone how much I love my D80? Didn't get a shot of it though Chapel Bridge, Lucerne, Switzerland Lake Lucerne, Lucerne Switzerland From atop Klewenalp, outside Lucerne Lake Lucerne from the base of Klewenalp From a carnival in Lucerne Believe it or not I shot this free hand, without a tripod The Matterhorn outside of Zermatt, Switzerland St. Bernard rescue dog atop Mt. I'd love to make that my desktop background. Right now I have the flyover from the ravens game I took. |Bunghole| Posted October 24, 2008 Report Posted October 24, 2008 Those are great! Did you sample from the Bernard's cask? I really liked the pic Jamie liked too. Those house look so idyllic nestled at the foot of the mountain like that. Bet it's a bitch in the winter, though.

I was supposed to pay for a pic taken by the dog's handler, but I manged to sneak a shot or two in while he was chasing off other would-be photographers I did get to pet the dog, though. He weighs more than I do. About 250 pounds! I couldn't manage a sip from his cask, but we did bring a bottle of schnapps up the mountain with us, so we were prepared The entire countryside there was just simply amazing. We traveled by train across a good chunk of the country, and every minute of it was breath taking.
