A Canadian comedy duo called The Masked Avengers from CKOI 96.9 FM in Montreal, Quebec pranked Sarah Palin, convincing her (and her team) they were receiving a call from French President Nicolas Sarkozy.

In the interview, which lasts about six minutes, Palin and the pranksters discuss politics, pundits, and the dangers of hunting with current vice-president Dick Cheney.

Listen to the hilarious call here. EPIC FAIL. Grandpa McCain isn't going to be happy about this one.

Their website must be getting slammed because it isn't loading for some. Here is the YouTube (h/t NegSpin):

"I loved your documentary... Nailin Palin! It was edgy!"

The Dumbest Person on the Panet Award goes to ...

.....drum roll please

SARAH PALIN !!! :pointlaff:

This is spreading around the web like a wild fire right now ..... I almost couldn't believe my ears when I heard it. Could this person be so stupid that she doesn't know she's being punked by a radio station? .... Does she really believe she's talking to a head of a country?

So I'm supposed to feel comfortable with her keeping classified secrets and nuclear codes to herself? Hell, we now know she's capable of giving them out to a radio station!

This will be so big in the next 48 hours that nearly everyone in America will have heard it ..... all Monday morning news outlets and morning shows will be playing it.

Quebec comedy duo talks porn and politics with oblivious Sarah Palin

By: Jessica Murphy, THE CANADIAN PRESS

MONTREAL - In an over-the-top accent, one half of a notorious Quebec comedy duo claims to be the president of France as he describes sex with his famous wife, the joy of killing animals and Hustler magazine's latest Sarah Palin porno spoof.

At the other end of the line? An oblivious Sarah Palin.

The Masked Avengers, a radio pairing notorious for prank calls to celebrities and heads of state, notched its latest victory Saturday when it released a recording of a six-minute call with Palin, who thought she was talking with Nicolas Sarkozy.

Throughout the call, which was making the rounds in U.S. political circles by day's end Saturday, Palin and the pranksters discuss politics, pundits, and the perils of going hunting with Vice-President Dick Cheney.

This actually makes me feel good about her in one way. She comes off as a normal person. Even BJ here likes to think our political leaders of the world meet up in secret meetings, but when Palin is on the phone, she shows no "secret handshake" of any kind. She talks on the phone like many women I am in contact with daily.

So, just in case McCain and Palin win, I feel like she has a good sense of the common person, and if push comes to shove and we are going to be screwed royally, maybe she'll find it in her heart to help us common people out.

And Missing Link, why would a head of a country not talk to her? She is running for VP of the USA. It's not like someone pranking you, or me, and saying that they are the head of France. Yeah, why the hell would you call me? I'm nobody. Of course, she maybe should've figured it out a few minutes sooner, but most women I know are pretty dense. Yeah, that was a sexist comment ... smack me now.

I'm still not voting for them, but it makes me feel closer to her in a "this is what my female coworker would sound like on the phone" kind of way. On the other hand, I do find women like this to be a tad annoying.

The absurdity in this is NOT that a foreign President would want to talk to her, but in the fact that she could be so easily fooled into believing that this was in fact, a foreign President .... after he was basically telling her that this was a prank .... C'mon, he's talking about ...

Hunting from a helicopter - "I love killing and taking innocent life"

Hustler's movie "Nailen Palen" ....

he told her that he could see Belgium out of his ass .....

Mentioned that his wife is good in bed ....

and yet through all this ...... SHE DIDN'T GET IT!

yeah, I feel comfortable with her having the nuclear codes and top secret information!

For the love of Christ, doesn't she and her people vet callers and have some secure calling verification protocol set up to make sure they're talking to the right people?

Then again, vetting isn't the McCain/Palin strongest suit now .... is it? I guess she should have establisned some "pre-conditions" before she elected to talk to these people. :pointlaff:

Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaat?! :panicbutton: :panicbutton: :panicbutton:

You feel good that she is dense as a rock? That makes you feel good? After 8 years of George Bush, our top leaders being dense as a rock makes you feel good? :thwack1:

Well, I despise both top running presidential nominees and their running mates, so I only try to find something that makes me feel good about any of them. I have found a few things in Obama also, but not Biden.

I have come to accept that one of these guys are going to be POTUS, so what else can I do? Just find something good in 'em.

Yes all three of those people are wildly popular. 99% of the U.S. has not a clue who these people are. She has no reason to know who they are either.

No reason other than she will be the potential leader of the free world if McCain wins and dies in office.

I'm a Dem. I don't like what Palin represents. I'd be worried if she ever became a significant player in the power structure.

That said, I sort of think this is a low blow. Were I in her position, I'd be firing/seriously disciplining some aides. There are enough shenanigans in life as it is, without folks going out of the way to abuse what I would suppose to be the good faith of a conversant.

It sounds like she doesn't understand what he is saying. I really don't either to tell you the truth. That is a funny accent. For example, it sounded to me like he said he could see Belgium from his house. Not ass. Secondly, he zipped through those french names so fast, I couldn't even understand them. She just sounded like the was being polite instead of "slow down d-bag, i can't understand what you're saying".

Guess nobody here has ever been pranked...Bs. Ever have a coworker or a friend call you pretending they are someone you might know? When you are traveling as much as they have
been on both sides it is easy for something like this to happen.

Just vote for you guy and we will vote for ours......see ya wed. :pointlaff:
