Guest oldschooler
Nope, the master bedroom is on the second floor. The french doors in the picture are in the kitchen. Thanks oldschooler [post="86234"][/post]
Yeah ...I just like the Master Bedrooms that have a deck or patio ...that`s what me and my Ex used to have. Just my personal preference...but still a VERY nice place... ecspecially for some1 your age...And no need to thank me. You did it all yourself... |Tigers Johnson|
Congratulations on the new house!! I'm sorry though that you have to endure so much pain to get it though. -Dan_Bengals_FL-
The house looks really good. It looks like it is going to have a nice view too, as long as they keep the woods in the back, and don't develop on them. Overally really good house, congrats on getting it done. The Bubble
That house is going to be paid for by lower income families, who have to pay me money to rent an apartment each month My actual job sucks ass. Soon I will be training to be a real estate appraiser. [post="75104"][/post]
Having apts suck ass too! I hope to close on mine May 30th. I don't ever want to go back to dealing with that. It didn't pay me like it's paid you!

Guest BengalsOwn
Siding is done, drywall is prepped for paint, ceilings are "stomped", and the cabinets, doors, trim, appliances, etc. are all sitting in the garage waiting to be installed. I was told it will be about 30-40 days until it is finished. They screwed up my surround sound wiring, but other than that it has been a pretty smooth process. Guest BengalsOwn
Went out today, and they had painted the entire house (second floor needs another coat), installed the vinyl floors, and installed the ceramic tile in the master bath, and they are getting ready to pour our patio. Guest BengalsOwn
We found out today that our closing date is set for July 6th (damn I thought it would be sooner!). We were pretty dissapointed, but oh well. The house will be done around the middle of June, but they have to walk us through it on June 23, and we will have to point out all the small problems that need to be addressed, so I guess that is why it will take so long to close. Now I still have to finish remodeling a bathroom, and installing doors. Damn job taking up my time.

If something even moderatley bothers you about the work, tell them about it and make them fix it. I know that people tend to ignore stuff to try to get in the house sooner, but you shouldn't have to do a damn thing to it once you move in. All that starts (and continues) after about a year. Guest BengalsOwn
Kitchen and bathroom cabinets were installed today, all of the trim was installed along with the interior doors, and the handrail was installed. I still can't figure out why we don't close until July 6th I should have some pictures tomorrow. The kitchen cabinets look beautiful
Guest BengalsOwn
Handrail installed: Kitchen looking from the dining area: The dishwasher is stainless steel, but it still has a white protective sticker on it: They have installed the plumbing fixtures, and most of the electrical fixtures. Pretty much all it needs is a little more paint on the second floor, the trim needs to have the nails and seams filled, the carpet and wood floors need installed, and the brick needs to be done. Maybe they're just being conservative on repairing the punch-list items. All I can say is, it won't matter anymore, as soon as you're in. Just look forward to that. Guest BengalsOwn
Brick is done, will try to get out there tomorrow and take pictures. Bathroom project coming along slowly. Me and my dad have put in about 20 hours on it so far, probably another 15 or so to go. We installed a vinyl floor for the first time, and it turned out nice (turned out being one hell of a project in itself though). Walls are prepped for the "tile" panels that I will be installing.
