CINCINNATI BENGALS (1-8-1)
AT
PITTSBURGH STEELERS (7-3)

GAME DETAILS
TIME: 8:15 p.m., Thursday
PLACE: Heinz Field, DD GrassMaster

INJURIES
CIN: QB Carson Palmer (elbow) and WR Antonio Chatman (neck) out. With the short week, Bengals had long list of players that didn't practice Tuesday and appear doubtful, led by LT Levi Jones (leg), LG Andrew Whitworth (high ankle sprain), RE Antwan Odom (shoulder), DE Eric Henderson (neck) and S Chinedum Ndukwe (foot). The extent of the injuries to CB Johnathan Joseph (foot) and G Scott Kooistra (knee) aren't known, but they didn't practice, either. WR Andre Caldwell (foot) practiced full for the first time since he suffered a stress fracture in the last Steelers game back on Oct. 19.
PIT: LT Marvel Smith (back) and CB Deshea Townsend (hamstring) didn't practice Tuesday and look to be out like they have been for several games. CB Bryant McFadden, with the broken forearm sustained trying to tackle Bengals RB Cedric Benson last month isn't expected to play even though he practiced in full Tuesday. Not listed on the injury report was TE Heath Miller, inactive the last two games with a high ankle sprain.

THE SERIES
Steelers lead regular season series 46-30 (25-13 in Pittsburgh and 4-3 at Heinz Field) and postseason series 1-0.

NOTEWORTHY
The Bengals have played the Steelers more than any other team with 77 games. If you guessed the Browns second, try again. Houston/Tennessee has played the Bengals 72 times. The Dec. 21 game in Cleveland marks the 71st time the Bengals play the Browns ... It's been just 353 days since the Bengals played the Steelers on Sunday night at Heinz and lost, 24-10, on a Sunday. Before that, the last time the two played at night was on Oct. 19, 1995 at Three Rivers Stadium when Jeff Blake threw three TD passes and maxed out the passer rating at 158.3 in a 27-9 Bengals win. That is the only other Thursday game the two clubs have played ... They haven't played at night in Cincinnati since a Sunday on Nov. 18, 1990 ... A win gives the Steelers a second straight series sweep. They haven't done that to the Bengals since sweeping them from 1991 to 1994 ... Bengals K Shayne Graham needs nine points for 661 in his career to move into second place on the Bengals all-time scoring list behind Jim Breech at 1,151 ... If Bengals WR T.J. Houshmandzadeh continues his season average of 7.3 catches per game, he'll finish with 121 catches this season for 536 in his career, six better than second-place Carl Pickens ... It's the first time the Bengals have ever played a defense ranked No. 1 in total defense, pass defense and rush defense ... When the Bengals gave up eight sacks Sunday against the Eagles, it marked the most sacks they had allowed since Nov. 17, 1996 against the Bills. A month before that in Pittsburgh, they allowed 10 in a 20-10 loss when linebacker Chad Brown had 4.5.

NFL RANKINGS
CIN: 31st in scoring, 32nd in offense (30th rushing, 30th passing); 20th in defense, (23rd rushing, 15th passing), 22nd in turnover margin at minus four; PIT: Tied for 23rd in scoring, 25th in offense (23rd rushing, 18th passing), first in defense (first in rushing, first in passing), 20th in turnover margin at even.

COACHES
CIN: Marvin Lewis 43-46-1 regular season, 0-1 postseason in his sixth season, 3-9 vs. Steelers, 0-3 vs. Mike Tomlin; PIT: Mike Tomlin 17-9 in his second season, 3-0 vs. Bengals.

THE WEATHER
The National Weather Service in Wilmington, Ohio is calling for 32 degrees in Pittsburgh Thursday night with scattered snow showers and a 50 percent chance precipitation. Snow accumulation is expected to be less than an inch. Wind out of the west and northwest at 10 miles per hour.

I have to get off here for awhile.

I think I might just watch the game on TV, and stay off the computer.

If I don`t make it back for the game . . .

"I believe Marvin Lewis is the Head Coach to do it, but you have to either give him the control or get a GM to aide him".

As soon as i posted what i did he said that.
But before that it was all bengal bashing all the time.
Basically said as long as mikeys in control they will go nowhere
and when he was asked to talk about the bengals he answered "why?" which of course got a huge laugh
