As far as I can see, his promising career could be over. If Mississippi doesn't fire him, he'll never be able to recruit again anyway. This is quite a shame, but you wonder if Nancy Zimpher and co. knew about the likelihood of something like this happening when he wasn't rehired, and didn't want another Bob Huggins.

Of course, maybe she snuck some ecstasy into his drink or something so that she would look better.

From what I recall, I think Andy Kennedy didn't want the job and wasn't pursuing it or trying to convince the powers that be that he wanted to be their guy. He was loyal to Bob Huggins (still is) and didn't want to take on a job under the circumstances like UC's at the time. He knew he was going to get opportunities elsewhere, which he got.

And this is the key here:
Police say a person standing nearby witnessed the incident.
He can deny it all he wants, but if an unrelated witness confirms the story, then he's screwed and you would be correct that he wouldn't be able to have much luck recruiting anymore.

So Andy Kennedy pled guilty and apologized in court to the defendant, the valet and the cops. He tried to bully his way out of it by threatening to sue the cab driver and the valet but that didn't work. I've lost all respect I had for the guy because of this situation.............and even more.........as a result of this, Kennedy and his wife cant be intimate according to the civil suit he was filing against the cabby.
