Rhodes who struggled a couple days ago should not have been brought in for a situation like that. There was NO intelligent reason to bring in Weathers when Pujols absolutely OWNS him. There is no reason to EVER pitch to pujols when you are up 3 runs and the bases are loaded. And to top all things off YOU DONT FUCKING LEAVE IN HERRERA TO FACE RIGHT HANDED BATTERS WHEN THEY HIT 300 OFF OF HIM! Herrera is a lefty specialist. He had already given up 2 fucking hits so go ahead and let him pitch to antoher righty! Dusty you fucking dumbass. He made like 5 mistakes in the final 2 innings, what a dumbass.
What a crybaby...

Just kidding, it sounds like Dusty did blow this game hard.

But I think the much more important thing is that maybe, just maybe Bailey is finally reaching his potential. If Bailey can pitch well in the second half and Volquez can come back strong, then we could have the best rotation in baseball.

Its easy to blame this loss on the bullpen (and Dusty obviously) but the bullpen has been so damn good all year, they are gonna blow a game every now and then. It just sucks it had to be a big one against the division leaders.
Agreed, if he can put up some solid numbers...maybe like .285 15 homers and 40 some rbis in the second half it will make this team a lot better, and he definitely has the potential to do that...

And as upset as I am with Wily T right now, Im actually kinda interested to see him bat in the 2 spot tonight. Hopefully Dickerson can get on base and then allow Taveras to try to lay down some bunts and get Dickerson over and even beat it out for a bunt single. Thats when Taveras can get dangerous.
Working pretty well the past 2 games as Taveras has 5 hits in these two games so far...hopefully they stick with it and dont try to put him back at leadoff.
highly unlikely since we have shit fuck on the mound tmw.
True, but maybe he will pitch one of those games where he actually shows up and pitches sweet.

Either way I cant imagine we get a lot of runs against Carpenter.

and another 2 run shot for the phillies in the first....4-0.

Cueto looks awful, cant throw a strike and when he does its out of the park...

and now a 2 run double to none other the the fucking pitcher cole hamels

Gotta love games where you can pretty much quit watching after the first inning, just like yesterday.

Johnny's line...2/3rds an inning 9 ERs!

Yeah, hes era went from 2.65 on the season to 3.45. Jumped about .8 in one game. Cant get much worse than that. This game will kill his stats for a while. Proved charlie manuel right for not picking him in the allstar game.

Obviously Cueto isnt gonna pitch this bad the rest of the season but if he struggles in the second half and arroyo continues to, its gonna be a long long second half.
Cueto will probably skip a start or two. He had issues early in his last start with a sore lower back, and I imagine this is related.
What, he never heard of Icy Hot, cortisone or steroids? What a loser!

22-1 final, worst loss since 1892! The next 6 games till the all star break are gonna be big for this team, they can either take a huge loss like this and let it effect them the next 6 games and finish 3-5 games under .500 or they can man up and fight back after their worst loss in 107 years.

EDIT: Pardon me. Worst loss ever.

There was an extended segment on ESPN today about the game last night. How embarrasing for the Reds, especially coming off a HUGE loss to the Cards the night before!
