Don't tell me the Steelers don't get official help...

Did anyone else catch the Santonio Holmes touchdown celebration? It was very obvious he used the ball as a prop to do the "Lebron Chalk" celebration. He used it as a shaker.

And way to review Kurt Warner's arm going forward.

Add the 15 yards for Santonio Holmes' celebration and it's a different ball game. Review, at least take a look at, Warner's arm... total crap.

Maybe the ref didn't see it. The camera's are on Holmes but that doesn't mean the refs are watching.

Yeah they should have reviewed Warner's arm going forward I doubt that one would have been over turned. Coulda though.

Maybe, but arent the Refs supposed to be getting the ball back from those guys after the TD? Wouldnt that stand to reason they were likly looking at him to get the ball back?

This is one reason I think the challenge rule needs to be changed. I think as long as a team has a time out they should be able to challenge.

Either that or it needs to be like college where every play is reviewed and each coach has a challenge he can use at any time.

It was a fumble.

I don't know what the Lebron thing is, but I didn't see Santonio do anything, and of course he didn't give the ball back to the refs he took that to the sidelines so he could bring it home. May be a great way to get some drug money in 15 years.

That's why you call a time out, and give the refs more time to look at it.

I thought it was a fumble, personally. I didn't want it to be, but I thought it was.
Michaels said on Air that the booth reviewed and decided not to send it down. They were probably watching porn or celebrating with queernation.com, but they should have sent it to the field to review.

Arizona was out of timeouts.

You must have taken your eyes off the television. It was plain as day what Holmes did. He used the ball as a shaker and did the whole Lebron chalk thing that LJ stole from KG.

I know this is off topic, but I was told there are reports that Lebron weighs as much as 270 pounds. I don't feel like looking it up... is that guy really that big?

I read a report saying he was 273 this season. I don't doubt it. 273 lbs and one of the fastest players, and probably the one who can jump the highest. Insane.

The "guys upstairs" looked at it and determined that it didnt need to be reviewed.

However, if that doesnt satisfy, the head ref from the game was interviewed on Sirius and he said that he looked at the play from several angles (afterwards) and said there is ZERO chance that he would have overturned it.

As for the Holmes celebration...it was worthy of a penalty, but it was so long after the TD that the refs were elsewhere...they just didnt see it.

What did you expect him to say " we blew the last call in the superbowl?" even if he knew he did? By the way, why do you call him the "HEAD" ref or was that what they were calling him in arizona?

Was that an attempt to be clever? Swing and a miss.

Anyhoo, if they believed the call was wrong then I believe they would have said so. They have done exactly that in the past.

Look at the play when the Cards were gonna punch it in and pisburgh ran it back on the interception....one DB was running forward before the snap and was offsides...caused Kurt to throw sooner.....int. They still should of tackled his ass anyway <_< Nobody called offsides WTF!
