Here are mine:

This team is good enough to win 90 or more games

Second place in the Division

Will make the playoffs as a Wildcard and go to the NCLS.

Owings will win Rookie of the year

Volquez leads the team in wins with 20 (Cueto and Owings have at least 15 each)

Brandon Phillips wins 2nd consecutive Gold Glove at 2nd.

Cordero get 31-35 saves

Owings leads the team in K's (Volquez close 2nd)

Bruce leads the team in HR's

Dickerson leads team in RBI's (if he gets enough playing time- otherwise it will be Votto)

Votto leads the team in Batting Avg.

Tavaras get 36-50 SB'd

All Star Nods go to Phillips, Votto, Volquez and Owings.

Only thing is, Volquez is no longer a rookie :D

Un no offense but this post makes no sense. First of all if we have 4 pitchers with 15 or more wins we will make the playoffs. Second of all you have the 5 starters combining for 77 wins, but the team only having 76-80 wins. The bullpen gets wins too, not just starters. If the starters have 77 wins the reds will win way more than 80 games.

For example the Tampa Bay Rays won 97 games last year and their starting pitchers (Garza, Jackson, Kazmir, Shields, and Sonnastine) combined for 64 wins. Their relievers had somewhere are 30.

My point is you are WAY overestimating how many wins our starters will get, unless you plan on having the reds win like 100 games.

Oh and taveras had 68 stolen bases last year, but you think he will go all the way down to 24?

Im gonna wait to make all my predictions till I see who makes it out of camp as the starting LF (Im assuming a platoon with dickerson and gomes or something) and who gets the 5th starters job.

But I think we have the POTENTIAL to be a playoff team, but we need a few things to go right.

Either way I think we are definitely improving and building for the future, this year will either be about a 78-82 win season or could be in the upper 80s if things go right.

re: wins
4? How do Edinson, Arroyo, and Cueto or Owings add up to 4?

I'd love for you to poke holes in the rest of it so we can look back and see just how much you know about baseball.
Please, teach me.

Thats not what you said, you said Arroyo Edinson Cueto and Bailey/Owings not cueto/owings. You inferred that Cueto would get 15 wins and then either Bailey or owings would too.

Eh i dont think Votto is as much of a home run hitter as Bruce. I think Votto will be around 30 maybe 27 or so but Bruce if healthy and stuff should be closer to 35.

I think Bruce is too streaky to outhit Votto in homeruns. Maybe but who knows.

First and foremost this team has a pitching staff that could be downright nasty in the division...
Votto is going to be the unquestioned leader of this team and along with Bruce, Phillips, Dickerson and Co. the team could score more than most are giving them credit for.....
winning more than 90 in not out of the question IF the pitching is as sound as I beleive it to be.
