Memphis_Bengal
Just researching some OLB's and Freeman stuck out to me. Wonder what some of you Buckeyes think about him. His numbers last year were great and from all accounts he had an amazing pro day. If we were able to get OT and C in rounds 1 and 2 would you trade your 3rd and 4th to jump 7-10 sports and grab him in the late 2nd if he is still on the board? We would still have our 3rd round comp pick to use.
Jom112
I believe Freemans best position is Weakside, which is what Rivers plays. So I don't think Freeman would be the best fit to play along side Rivers...
spicoli
I think they've already got a pretty good guy on their roster in Brandon Johnson. I'd really like to have Larry English but they'd have to use pick #38 to get him. Cody Brown is a guy we might be able to get with a 3rd round pick. Hopefully Curry will just slide down to us at 6 and make it all moot.

The SAM backers we have had lately seem to all be converted ends (Pollack, Jeanty, Blackstock)

Kochman
Zack Follett I think he would make a great SAM LB. He is a good pass rusher and a fierce tackler. He had a good combine and proday, he could add a few pounds. Did 21 bench reps at the Cal Pro Day while standing on the rest of his Combine numbers there. Strengths Super active LB who has excelled in a 3-4 scheme. Good pass rushing skills and fabulous motor. A team leader on defense and has a knack for the big play. Good football IQ and instincts. Form tackler. Weaknesses Lacks ideal height and speed for an NFL rush LB. Will probably have to transition to the inside for the next level.

Follett was a SAM when they ran the 4-3, and he looks a little small for an NFL MLB (6'2", 236) ***EDIT***Upon further review it appears that Follett played MLB as a freshman, WLB as a sophomore, and SLB as a junior and senior.
