Is that going to be before or after the Super Bowl parade? :3:

Why? I didnt think you lived in Cincinnati, so you wont have to attend ours.

Seriously, do you really think you guys have a shot of winning the SB this year?

I'm not saying I think the Steelers do, but if I had to pick some favorites based on what I have seen so far this season, the Bengals wouldnt be very high on the list.

I think we have a shot at the playoffs and while I dont think we do at the superbowl, i seem to remember someone once telling me that once you get it anyone can win it its just a matter of if you get hot at the right time.

Cheap shots and crooked refs don't hurt, either...

Jesus, doesnt whining like a bitch about refs and cheapshots ever get old?

As for Jamie, yes I did say that...and as I recall I was correct. I think your argument was something along the lines of "it doesnt matter that the Bengals didnt make the playoffs because the Pats are guaranteed to win the SB" or something along those lines.

Yeah and the way they were playing that year they looked unstoppable, i mean brady to moss was making everyone look silly, who knew the giants would get a miracle david tyree (is he even playing for them anymore?) catch to keep that drive alive.

Now I know you dont think we have a shot at the superbowl, what about making the playoffs?

Yeah the Tyree catch was strange, but it doesnt take away from the fact that the Giants D shut down the "unstoppable" Patriots offense.

Moving on...yeah, I think you guys have a definate shot at the playoffs...unless the wheels fall off for some reason. Beating us in the first game definately puts you guys in the driver's seat. Our next game will be big.

I think the AFCN definately sends two this year. Maybe the east sends two.

Here is an interesting stat that I was supprised to see...
From FOX Sports . . .

6 Bengals 5-2-0 2 6/28

Allow me to introduce Cedric Benson, your NFL leading rusher after seven weeks. The former Bears washout is averaging over 100 yards/game on the ground. Add him to a healthy Carson Palmer, a revived Ocho-scoopo and a defense that has given up the fewest points in its division. That's right, fewer than both the mighty Steelers and Ravens. Who saw that coming?
THIS WEEK: Bye

I mean I knew our D had gotten better, but didnt know it gotten better than both yours and the ravens, with regard to scoring D.

Slow your roll there. Cinci has given up 1 less point than Pittsburgh and two less than Baltimore. Lets not make a mountain out of a molehill here.
Oh I know, and 2 less than Bal.

Still, its not something I think either of us would have expected.
