ND wasn't the only job he'd leave for... there are 8-10 jobs that are better in college football now... relaxed entry requirements, better recruiting bases, and plenty of money... Tennessee talked to Kelly - but he wasn't offered the job... And, as I don't follow UC or Kelly, what two schoold bigger than UC offered him and he declined? And, evidence? Couldn't have been pushing up his own stock for a pay raise, possibly? Obviously, we'll never know for certain... as I heard through the local sports radio (which I listen to every day to and from work) that he was interviewed for the job but was never formally offered. [/quote] ESPN and the Enquirer are reporting that Mike Elston (D-line coach), Charley Molnar (O-Cooridinator) and Bob Diaco (D-Coordinator) already signed with Kelly. ESPN is reporting that Tim Hinton will be joining Kelly. Rumor has it as the ST coach. Chuck Martin resigned as the Grand Valley head coach to become Kelly's D-back's coach. Indiana's Mike Denbrock will coach the TE's at ND. Rumor has it that Butch Jones has hired from CMU, Dave Lawson (Strength & Conditiioning Coach), Steve Stripling (Assoc. Coach/DE), OL coach Don Mahonay, and LB coach Mark Elder. It's been reported that JD Brookhart (Akron's past head coach) has interviewed for UC's passing game coordinator.
