BengalRep85-9
http://msn.foxsports.com/mlb/story/rosenthal-realignment-proposal-022510 Would put the Reds in a division with the Pirates, Indians, Tigers, and Twins. And obviously switches them from the NL to the AL.

JBandJoeyV
Not interested...it would get rid of some rivalries that have been built up. I like it the way it is now, maybe if they feel they have to move a team or two somewhere that would be fine but the drastic changes arent worth it. turningpoint
Count me against it too.
What's worse is putting teams from the same city in the same division, dumbest fucking idea ever. There's a reason why the cubs are NL and AL, you'll never root for the other one again, with this setup. I'd at least root for the yankees if i was a met's fan from ny when they weren't playing the mets. Imagine the steelers moving to cincinnati......it's idiotic. CincyInDC
only if the DH went away, but even then I'd hate it.
AmishBengalFan
That's idiotic. Why not just realign teams alphabetically?!? It also violates two of my "10 Steps" to save baseball, so it's a complete non-starter for me. 1 - Contract by two teams (Montreal, Tampa) 2 - Move Milwaukee back to the AL 3 - Dissolve the Central Divisions 4 - Dispurse the former Central teams to the East or West 5 - Eliminate the Wild Cards 6 - Eliminate the AL Designated Hitter 7 - Eliminate Inter-league play 8 - Reduce the LCS's to best 3 of 5 9 - Two words.... SALARY CAP 10 - Put Pete in the HOF. In essence, roll both leagues back to pre-1973, exceptkeep all the expansion teams (except Tampa - that was a mistake MLB!) and eliminate the Washington Expos. I used to care about baseball when I was a kid and winning the divisions meant something. Now, I don't. This plan would get me interested. The Fox proposals would get me to stop caring about saving it.
