College Realignment

So there was a conversation about re-alignment in the pros using the European Soccer model and we often have a conversation about college football and leveling the playing field a bit with a playoff. This would be an interesting model. I know there are way too many issues here but, nevertheless it would be fun.

Under this model the team with the lowest record in each conference would drop down. So, Duke, Kansas, Vanderbilt, Minnesota, Washington St and Rutgers would drop down. Nevada, UCf, Hawaii, N Illinois, Troy and Navy would pop up.

Teams would pop up and drop down in relation to their location. So, Duke goes to Con USA, Kansas goes to the MW, Vanderbilt goes to the Sun Belt, Minnesota goes to the MAC, Washington St goes to the WAC and Rutgers is an independent. Nevada moves up to the Big 12, UCF to the ACC, Hawaii to the PAC 10, N Illinois to the Big 10, Troy to the SEC and Navy to the Big East.
