LOTR Extended Edition Trilogy, $45

681 minutes (theater version was 558 minutes). So over 2 hours of extra scenes over the entire trilogy.

I bought the blu-ray trilogy for less than that. Even now the blu is still a good price and better value

Django Unchained is excellent

Not a big Tarantino fan....I definitely like Pulp Fiction and Reservoir Dogs but nothing else. And I think he is annoying as a person. I have heard great things but thought Inglorious basterds was just average. What does it compare to?

I'm not sure what I compare it to, but I'm not a QT fan either. Pulp Fiction might be the only movie of his I actually like. I'd have to see Inglorious Basterds again but thought it was ok. Kill Bill is a pile of junk.

The acting by Jamie Foxx, Leonardo DiCaprio, and mostly Christoph Waltz are what put Django over the top. In contention for my favorite movie of 2012.

Don't know if this has been posted, but it looks pretty good.

Grudge, Last House on Left, Don't be Afraid of the Dark, Fog, Messengers, tons of others.... previews always look crazy good but movie ends up being shit.

Is it just me, or does this look like the series has gone military?

no i think it seems more of a people stealing military vehicles to likely sell on the black market and thus Dom and the crew get recruited to stop it, not so much military as i think you are implying

Fair point, when I saw this during the SB, that was my thinking was about the series going military, which would be a different direction.

Of course, the ad was a teaser, so who knows what the final product will be like.

I'm eager for Iron Man, Star Trek, and Thor. I'm anxious about Ender's Game (loved the book, but terrified of movies that need complex acting from children). I'm drooling for Pacific Rim. Guillermo Del Toro just rocks my socks with his visual style.

Pretty excited for the Oblivion movie, too. I like Tom Cruise. His religion's a little nutty, but whatever. Seems like a good person, and makes a ton of movies I like.
