T-Dub
movie. 2016, starring Felicity Jones as a rebel soldier. The Director is describing it as thus: “A band of resistance fighters unite for a daring mission to steal the Death Star plans in Star Wars anthology film, Rogue One.” They're saying that the movie is inspired by past movies like Saving Private Ryan and Black Hawk Down, but in the Star Wars realm. All the spinoffs (aka the ones that don't get roman numerals) are being called "anthology films", which seems to be another way of saying that they are part of the Star Wars universe, and they are Star Wars canon, but they aren't directly related like the main prequel and sequels are. They are basically standalone films in the same universe. going to keep milking this cash cow until it keels over dead. ^

|Montana Bengal|
RE: Rogue One I told my daughter (5) that there was a new Star Wars movie coming out and the main character was a "Kick-Butt Girl". She asked me if that was the title of the movie....sounds like a good working title to me.

Didn't want people to stay til the end and be pissed.

They've also already said there are no Jedi in the film since, of course, the few remaining Jedi are in hiding. Missed your reply. Thanks for the info.. CincyInDC
Hard to say. For me it was very very tame. There was one instance of swearing
but it was pretty God damned funny.
CincyInDC
ok, maybe more than one. http://geekdad.com/2015/04/avengers-age-of-ultron-review/ Avengers: Age of Ultron is rated PG-13, just as every MCU film has been. There is some swearing–starting earlier in the film than you might have guessed. There is sexual innuendo, including a line from Stark that (like the infamous “q-word” line of Loki’s in the first Avengers movie) I’m sure was allowed to stay in because the MPAA folks either didn’t know what the phrase meant or knew but figured very few viewers would. |Montana Bengal|
Yep. Being written by, and I think directed, Simon Pegg (Scotty) Pretty sure he is just co-writing - Justin Lin is directing (directed a few F&F movies) and some other stuff. Jamie_B
James Wan to direct the Aquaman movie. Interesting choice as I like his stuff, but not sure how it fits with a superhero movie. Unless Aquaman is going to be a horror flick.

gatorclaws
Saw Jurassic World, enjoyed it but it's getting horribly overrated. About the same quality as the prior sequels but no where near the original.
Go Skins
Jurassic World officially breaks the domestic opening weekend record that was held by Avengers: http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/box-office-jurassic-world-stomps-802370 The tentpole was bigger than expected on Sunday, propelling it past previous record-holder 'The Avengers.' Obliterating all expectations, Universal's Jurassic World roared to a record $209 million-plus debut in North America, the biggest of all time and rescuing the action-adventure franchise from the brink of extinction 22 years after Steven Spielberg's Jurassic Park first hit theaters.
