[/quote] He said the ball was a good 2 feet foul. Freeze it at 0:46 the ump is signaling fair. If he had said it was past the foul line 2 feet then I'd agree but the ball was ruled fair. Jamie_B
Sorry just got back from the proctologist about this annoying pain in my ass. He said it is a 1181 which has no real cure but will flame up every so often for no Damn reason at all. The annoying part is its really far up my ass too. Jason
It was pretty clear to me that Cowboy meant it was 2 feet foul when he fielded it. But I'm not going to get into a pissing match over it either.
VonBlade
Bronson worries me more than Volquez does. Fly ball pitcher + GABP =/= good things.
CTA513
Arroyo set a new team record for homers allowed passing former Red great Eric Milton. He only needed 1 for the record, but has already given up 3 tonight for a total of 43 this season.
CTA513
Stubbs with 2 K's tonight gives him 195 K's on the season which ties a Reds single season record that was set by Dunn.
BengalRep85-9
This team is vastly underachieving compared to what I thought they would do. Rolen getting old fast really hurt. Arroyo is finished (especially in this ballpark). Wood is nowhere near the pitcher he was last year. Volquez could go either way every start and may not be back next year. Cueto is an ace but is proving to be injury prone. As is Bailey. Stubbs is turning into Adam Dunn with far less power. Bruce isn't progressing as we all had hoped. I'm much more concerned with this team this offseason than I was last year.
Bengals1181
I never understood the re-signing of Arroyo (other than being an innings eater). The rotation was pretty full as it was, and now they're stuck with an insane contract they can't get out of.
CTA513
Stubbs struck out in his 1st at bat today which gives him 196 breaking his tie with Dunn and setting a new Reds single season record.

VonBlade
I'm glad Stubbs got his 200 Ks. If he'd have held him off at 199 or something it would have been, in a curious way, some kind of morale victory. By allowing him such a milestone total perhaps either Drew can sort his eye out, or Dusty can stop being so damn loyal to a guy who is nearly an automatic out. Good effort today from Arroyo though. Shows he can be effective if he just pitches down a bit.
