akiliMVP Posted April 28, 2011 Report Share Posted April 28, 2011 I would be pretty shocked and happy if the Broncos were crazy enough to take a 1 dimensional pass rushing 3-4 linebacker and plug him into a 4-3 with the 2nd pick. [/quote] depends on how they do it. If they can get down to say #20 and pick up a 2 2nd's, and a 3rd in the process, I'd have no problem taking Dalton, Ponder, Mallett or even Locker at #20. Sure you're still reaching a bit for Dalton, but you're maxing the hell out of your first round pick. That way you get your QB you want, and you can wreck some serious shit with 3 #2's and 2 #3's. They have also told him that they'd be more than happy to trade down with the right offer. They don't think there is any one guy they have to have in this draft so they won't be trading up in the 1st or 2nd round. Why do national guys come in and swoop up stories so easily?
