Big Jen at #5 is all based on SBs. He's not that good individually.
When I watch him play I see a drooling lummox constantly being bailed out by his teammates as he tries to spaz-flail the game away.

Here's a thought...accept that ESPN has directed their people to make fun of the Bengals at every turn this year and put them on "ignore" for now.

Win a few games and this will recede.

who should he be above at this point?

he only had one decent showing, i would say higher than dead last... but not by a ton...

his combined QB rating thus far is in the 30's if i recall... not the end all beat all, but it has validity to it...

no hype out of college, average/mediocre showings in preseason and one "good-ish" one, coming against the panthers and newton, i wouldnt expect a media outlet to present him much higher...

Second round rookie is starting in the NFL and is ranked with all the starters! WTFC where he's ranked today. I care where he is ranked at seasons end. He will a playoff game before Cali shithead.

If this post was supposed to imply that he will be in a playoff game before Cam Newton, I agree with you.

This neverending saga of Carson being the suck because of "multiple injuries" is bunk. There was nothing wrong with the knee in 2006 (Probowl year, disappointing season outcome) and he was fine in 2009 after the elbow thing too. I don't get it. His erratic play last season didn't have anything to do with those things...it had to do with the fact that the oline wasn't good, his pocket awareness sucked, he stares down receivers, throws too many picks and our playcalling was atrocious.

I still want our team to succeed believe me. I will try not to be negative. But if we lose a lot then I may flip out.

I've saved the QB ratings and I hope I can throw back in Clayton's putrid face by the end of the year.

It's so easy for these ass-hats to make their pre-season predictions because nobody ever reviews them at the end of the year to see what a miserable fucking job they did!

Before they come out with their Power Ratings or Player Ratings, they SHOULD BE REQUIRED to show how well they did the previous year. Then, no one would take their predictions seriously.

You can put your heart and soul into banging your head against a brick wall, eventually you'd give up.

This is pretty sad...ESPN has a link to rank the top QB's. But they only display 30 Quarterbacks and, of course, Dalton is one of the ones missing. Feeling like Rodney Dangerfield here...

But so is Cam Newton. At least this list makes a little sense because neither have played a game yet.

I did this wrong. Edit.
You have to have a notebook with everyone's posts from the last six months beside your computer. It's orange with black stripes, probably a 3 subject 5 Star where all entries are hand written. Craziness.

I fucking hate the Browns man! Shit, if I was going to flip I'd pick a winner at least not another shit hole of a team!
I'd steer away from all Ohio teams that's for sure. This state is jinxed! <_<
