My vote is for Dunn, the only thing he brings to this team is questionable fielding and a occasional 500 foot homerun, with no one on base, 16 HR's and not even twice that number of RBI's is just not helping anyone.....

Kearns has alot more potential to help the team and is a better fieilder...

Griffey is the best fielder in the outfield and has finally returned to form at bat....

Dunn is gone....

typical day for Adam Dunn:

1st ab: SO (runners left at second and third)
2nd ab: SO (noone stranded THIS TIME)
3rd ab: bb
4rth ab: SO (no outs in the inning, man at third... the catcher caught the ball, so NO!!! the runner didn't score)...

about every 4rh or 5th game he hits a solo homerun.... kearns sucks right now and all, but he is still better than dunn imo... plus dunn commands the highest trade value out of all, besides griffey... junior is showing why we got him back in the day... healthy, he is still a top 5 hitter in MLB and a top 10 defender...

Also take into consideration that Dunn will command a salary upwards of 10 million next year. With our payroll even if we wanted to, we flat out couldn't pay that. Let's dangle him out there and see what offers we receive. If something is strong enough, let's go for it. Wily gives us the same power, the same awful fielding, the Ks that Dunn does, just from the right side of the plate. I see it as a push, until you look at salary....Wily Mo is making nothing compared to what Dunn will get next year.

I voted for Griffey, but I doubt the Reds will be able to trade, his old, injury-prone, high paid ass, so if they can they should try to unload Kearns or Dunn.

Kearns keeps failing to live up to potential, but now since he is in the minor leagues and isn't doing well, the Reds won't get much in return, so maybe he is a keeper for now.

Dunn has the homerun numbers but strikes-out in big time situations, scratch that, strikes out everytime he doesn't get a homerun. His numbers may decieve some teams, who believe that if they surround him with a better line-up he may produce a better average, so if they can get a team like the Red Sox to bite, trade his ass for some good prospects and a decent veteran to fill the void for now.

Kearns.

Griffey is what he is. Old but still got game. Dunn might strike out 90% of the time, but it's easier to teach patience at the plate than teach HR power.

Seriously, imagine Dunn batting, say 320. Would you trade him then? He's young he can learn.

Kearns has almost zero upside.

Dunn.
Like someone said earlier, Wily Mo is essentially the same player. We will also get the most in return for Dunn.

Griffey is too old, too expensive, and is liable to break his hip everytime he steps on the field

Kearns has potential but hasn't lived up to it, the reds won't get much for him.

For the love of God trade for some freakin pitching, as a matter of fact, trade Dunn, Randa, and Eric Milton for a can't miss pitching prospect. The season is lost, got to go with the youth to develop for next season. 1 dominate pitcher isn't too much to ask for. . . . . Is it??? Dan??? You SOB....

You could make a case for either Dunn or Kearns. At least Dunn does manage to hit some homers, fwiw. Kearns can't hit jack shit right now, but he IS the better fielder, by a longshot. So, I actually would like to trade them both in return for a quality arm...if possible. We have enough youth we could bring up to take their roster spots, plus Freel can play out there along with Griff and Pena...

Trade Eric Milton?

Maybe we can get a team to give us a bag of dirty socks for him, but we would have to pay his full salary, along with paying the team an additional $500,000.
