MichaelWeston
Completely agree. I think its just the easiest way to do it. Its better then the actual polls and would make teams, Like LSU, look to play tough schedules. In mine whats even more tainted is that a bad team might be ranked high week 1 and get beat 9 straight games but the team that beat them week 1 gets a point because they beat a ranked team. JBandJoeyV
As far as im aware of, no top big 12 team has played a top sec team so how do you know for sure alabama is better? Bama had their shot at LSU and blew it, it should be OKST vs LSU. I wont watch another Bama LSU game.
JC
I'll watch, just because the SEC is so good, but I really would have liked to have seen Okie State get a shot. I hope they get a playoff system soon. Would make college ball a lot more enjoyable.

[/quote] This. If we can't get a playoff at least a +1... Oki St has no more right to bitch than Stanford. Stanford's loss was at least respectable. You lose to a 6-6, 3-6 in conference, team... I don't know how you complain. Bama's one loss was to a 13-0 team. by 3. And, IMO, a bad officiating call away from probably winning that game. Well Bama is ranked higher than Oki st... how you going to complain about the rankings when it is Bama at #2 but then use them to justify Oki state having a gripe and Stanford (or any other 1 loss team) not having one? The rankings are either right or wrong. If they're wrong, fine, but don't use those very same rankings to justify ONLY Oki st's complaint.

sois
Iowa State is a good team in a tough conference, they are a fast rising team. The Okie Lite body of work is strong enough. I'm not watching this gay ass rematch.
Vol_Bengal
yokay... That is like saying Tennessee is a good team in a tough conference...5 of Tennessee's 7 losses were to top 15 teams... but guess what - they're still not very good. 5-7, 6-6, etc. just isn't very good. If LSU or Alabama's only loss had been to Tennessee you'd be alright with that? Whatever.
