This isn't only about them. The company in Cali sent it to Ohio which is also a big no no. The DEA will most likely take up the case and make an example out of Simpson and or Collins IF THEY CAN. Couple of parts to all this so it might take a little time for a federal indictment if one is coming.

What I still can't wrap my head around is the enormous amount of risk he took on for very little actual financial gain when compared to his NFL salary, a salary that would have gone way up on his next contract, presumably.

He makes $555,000 a year under his current contract.

The type of weed he was (allegedly) selling goes for about $125 a quarter. So figure he sells nothing but quarterbags, that's $500 an ounce, $8000 a pound, a total of $64,000 and some change for all he had. That's just not enough money to justify possibly getting caught to me. But then again, I'm not fucking stupid either.

Remember he had to pay for it. So his profit would be way less than that.

Well, right, but I am just talking gross overall dollars. His take would be less than half that I would guess. Maybe some people just get a thrill out of being "the man" that can "get you things" or something. Its just so painfully dumb, especially for a guy on the verge of breaking out and getting a new, veteran contract.
