Storm Posted June 20, 2005 Report Share Posted June 20, 2005 When you have people at the top who nothing about baseball (Lindner, Allen) and a clown for a GM this is what you get! www.carllindersucks.com Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
|Bunghole| Posted June 20, 2005 Report Share Posted June 20, 2005 Sickeningly true. The Reds are the Bengals of the 1990's now. I guess Cincinnati can't have 2 winning pro sports teams at the same time...that would be too much to ask... Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

[post="105071"]<{POST_SNAPBACK}>[/post]
Since 1990, how often have they even had one? I'm not forgiving management of everything, but at least when the Bengals were so bad, we knew the league was set up such that they could still quickly become a Super Bowl contender if management made the effort to get there. In MLB, such poor management is magnified because the Reds are set up to fail. Unfortunately, even with strong management, small market teams tend to more closely resemble the Royals than the Twins.
