February 20, 201214 yr comment_1097662 New Article up over at Reds.com has Dusty saying that Cueto probably gets the opening day nod. I am kind of dumbfounded by this because generally the Reds go with the most veteran leader on the staff which would be Arroyo. February 21, 201214 yr comment_1097691 No, the Reds generally go with their supposed best pitcher. Although Haran probably got it a couple of times more than he deserved. Report
February 21, 201214 yr comment_1097695 I think its a no-brainer. Cueto is THE best pitcher on this team based on last season, without a doubt. Arroyo as the Opening Day starter would be a joke. I wish the Reds would get rid of him. He's so mediocre and very prone to giving up the longball. Report
February 21, 201214 yr Author comment_1097703 What about the years Pete Harnisch was the starter? The pitcher the Reds traded in the Sean Casey trade...John Smiley? There have been some doozies. I just remembered the guy in the Sean Casey trade...Dave Burba. Edited February 21, 201214 yr by Lewdog Report
