A little less than a week away until the field is announced. I think with the start of the Big East tournament, which is the best of the best conference tournaments IMO, starts the festivities. Going to be sad to see that all break down once the super-conferences start.

Quite a few tickets have been punched already. I think a surprise team wins the BE tourney this year. I'm going with UCONN since Calhoun is back and they have some quality players who could gel and put it all together and make a surprise run in the tourney.

For the tourney, I got UK this year. I know they are young, but they have so many pieces on that team that are just made for the tournament. They have the 3 point shooters, the defense, and the glue guy in Kidd-Gilchrist. A lot of teams this year that I think can challenge for it, so I think that this year will be phenomenal. Regardless, go Duke.

I will start a Go-Bengals brackets again this yr for members here. No money, just bragging rights. You can all brag that you beat rumble or lost to rumble

Oh yeah! Tomorrow should be a better day for Big East games. Sucks that I have school and work all day. FMLFMLFML.

Biggest upset: Belmont over G'Town and Memphis over MSU and Florida over Mizzou.

FF: UK, Mizzou, Kansas, and Florida State.

I don't have the balls to go with Florida over Mizzou, but only because of the time change. I can see it happening though.

UK potentially getting UConn in the 2nd round is pretty garbage for a #1 overall. UNC has a cake walk to the elite 8. Really looks like they got the #1 overall seed looking at the matchups.

UC got put in a brutal group with texas, ohio st, florida st, gonzaga, and west virginia. Then most likely Syracuse later on. Ouch

I was watching the announcement and analysis on various channels last night.

Someone felt Lamar may knock out UNC (presuming Lamar wins their play in game). A 16 has never been a 1 in men's play. Lamar played Mason in Fairfax in February as part of Bracketbusters. In addition, Lamar's coach is Bobby Knight's son. Lamar looked pretty good in that game.

This is pretty cool. Doesn't give you team names, but it gives you how well they're doing going into the tourney, their size, offense, etc. I ended up with Duke v. Kansas in the final with Kansas winning.

So much for Lamar pulling any upsets...I didn't watch most of it last night though.

VCU/Wichita State should be a good one.

No kidding. Thank god they pulled through.

They scared the shit out of me........I thought they were going to lose that game....Texas had way too much momentum. Good win. FSU in the next round is going to be a very tough game. Maybe St. Bonnie beats them? FSU down by 6 at halftime.
