The consensus I got is the strength of this draft is from 15-25, leaving the Bengals in the strongest of positions -- at 17 and 21 ...

Albert Breer‏[s]@[/s]AlbertBreer

... That's why teams above 15 are trying to deal down, and also why teams at the end of Round 1 could try and bail into Round 2. ...

... Also, although a wise man once told me there "aren't bad drafts, just bad drafters", consensus is this class on whole is mediocre. ...

BIG CALL: Charlie Kock, who goes back to the Nippert Stadium days, won the team's draft e-mail sweepstakes for season ticket holders and makes the call Saturday in New York when the Bengals make the fourth-round pick.

Cock, 67, whose favorite memory is the Freezer Bowl, is accompanied on the trip by Barbara, his wife of 44 years. He counts A.J. Green, Isaac Curtis, Tim Krumrie and Archie Griffin as his favorite Bengals. He worked at Ohmart/VEGA Corporation in Oakley before retiring 12 years ago.

Floyd just as good as Blackmon...lol. I like Floyd but he should get drafted between 15-25 anything before that is because they have a serious need for WR and the dropoff after Floyd is pretty decent. Blackmon is the superior WR and has no issues off the field. Blackmon is worth trading up for and Floyd is not worth the 7th pick. I think ill take Shefter's sources over Bengal1181's youtube highlight scouting.

1) There's plenty of people besides me that think Floyd is better.

2) Schefter is not a draft guy, so his opinion doesn't mean shit.

grow up dude.

I'm at NFL Draft in NY and there are strong indications the Colts will pick Andrew Luck.

My sources confirmed this.

You're late on this. I posted it on page 1 at 8 and a half hours ago.

I'm just realizing something for the first time. We are directly ahead of the Browns second pick with our 21st. I can really see some QB lusting team trying to trade with us at that spot in order to get a shot at one of the QB's that may still be on the board. In case Tannehil slides, or maybe even Weeden. Any thoughts? Would be awesome to take a high second and perhaps a first next year. Three #1's next year (I'm dreaming of beating Palmer in the AFC championship game) anyone?
yea I think we definitely could trade out of 21. If not for your QB idea, but for a number of pass rushing OLB's that will be available.

The Bengals are in a position to rake someone over the coals with a trade down.

The calm before the storm. The [s]#[/s]Bengals draft room, where all the action will take place in little more than an hour! http://twitter.com/Bengals/status/195644806335168513/photo/1

If someone wants 21 bad enough to deal us a 2nd or 3rd, i'd consider trading down from #21, otherwise I'm fine with where we're at.

I think there's a very good chance the bengals come out of tonight with 2 first round players and a 2nd or 3rd round pick.

Trading up highly unlikely for Bengals

There is zero indication the Bengals are interested in moving up in the first round. The Bengals plan to use both of their first-round picks (Nos. 17, 21).
