!!!!!WITH THE 17TH PICK THE BENGALS SELECT CB DRE KIRKPATRICK!!!!!

Recommended Posts

Word is this guy will be a handful for Zimmer. Saban had to sit on this guy to do things right. He has a bit of the Odell complex (wants to do things his way).

However, he is coming into Zimmer's system, ...and Zimmer is king here!

I think they have a much tighter room with good leaders so guys like Clements and Hall can sit on his ass, in addition to Zimmer, if he acts up.

I agree. We are a totally different team with Zimmer here. Guys don't get away with crap anymore.

Best part... "I ain't scared of Julio."

this isn't specific to Dre, but the national signing day spectacle has kind of gotten out of control, and only fosters the sense of entitlement that a lot of these kids get, which leads to many of them getting in trouble.

Anybody have any idea what this foo' is talking about? I obviously heard about the January weed arrest...what is this?
17 (17) Cincinnati Bengals (from Oakland): CB Dre Kirkpatrick, Alabama
The Bengals' secondary is littered with question marks, with Leon Hall coming off injury and Nate Clements and Terence Newman showing their age. Many teams removed Kirkpatrick from their draft boards after an on-campus incident the week before the draft, yet the Bengals have been more lenient of high-risk talent in the selection process and could benefit if Kirkpatrick can find a way to stay out of trouble and mature. Mike Brown has a history of selecting high-risk-high-reward talent and rolled the dice again.
