Anarchists

This guy makes my argument as to what is going on and why I call the Tea Party and their supporters Anarchists, what they are specifically is Anarcho-Capitalists and those who support them and dont understand that naive sheep.

What we desire is a return to the Golden Age of Capitalism where the controls the state put in place helped usher in prosperity for everyone, what they desire is a zero sum game where they win and everyone who isnt them loses.

What is sad is they have pulled such a slight of hand to undo those controls and then turn the blame on a non-functioning government to put fear in the hearts of the naive that government is what ales us as opposed to what is really going on, which is fascism, fascism is what ales us, and the fix to that is not no or little government to which the anarcho-capitalists desire, it's our democratic republic system in which good government keeps a check on the more sinister of the anarcho-capitalists is the fix.

Big government is getting so intrusive that it wants to violate my Constitutional right to run red lights. And my Constitutional right to sell my guns to psychopathic criminals. And my Constitutional right to carry bombs on airplanes. Hell they even want to deny Al Qeda full disclosure of all the sources of military intelligence that we use to catch terrorists.

Join the Tea Party. Grab your gun and your bible and lets march on Washington.

GIVE ME BACK MY FREEDOM!!!!!!

Come on in! The hyperbole water is the best/worst thing ever and if you dare to disagree with that you are obviously an/a unenlightened/hyper-elitist right/left wing sheep/hawk/dove/pinko/socialist/neo-con/anarchist.

Do we never get tired of arguing "slippery slope" debates? Yes, if you extrapolate any aspect of any political stance, any religious belief, or any lifestyle choice using the absolute worst assumed tangibles in play, you are easily able to make something you disagree with seem to be Cthulu's and Satan's lovechild. It isn't witty, it isn't worthy, and, most importantly, it isn't working.

If only it were hyperbole.

Because they are taking your guns in government-assigned death panels, right? It is embarassingly easy to point the finger at the "zealot" across the aisle, yet it is even more embarassing to see that those that were just pointing at the ____-wing nut job cannot see that they are being just as bad with the hyperbole. Just because your "side" says something, doesn't mean you have to cling to it like it is One True Word. You really are coming off as a Bizarro Fox News viewer. Do I trust corporations? No. Do I trust politicians? Even less. Do I trust that most people who follow the words of the talking heads in media, the anonymous bloggers, the unions, the managments, and politicians truly believe that they are striving and speaking for the right thing? Absolutely. Our soceity is evolving, and that is a scary thing. There are no easy answers and we should not be ashamed to admit that we, an infintisimal speck of humanity conversing on a forum, may not have all the answers. However, the constant snide comments based solely upon the most absolute soundbited, radio talk show host drivel, immediately rubs the wrong way those who have a different viewpoint, and then relying upon that as stone cold, chiseled in marble fact derails any sort of potential discourse rational people, in whatever numbers, can accomplish.

I gave it a thumbs up not based simply on this one video... but a lot of the dialogue in this forum in general. His comments don't pertain solely to the video either but in the general us vs. them (no matter which side of the aisle you choose) mentality. I'm getting screwed by your guys, you're getting screwed by my guys (again, regardless of which side of aisle we're speaking of)... what does it matter??? In the end we're both getting screwed. Too few people aren't realizing this at this point.

I'm all for having regulation in place when it is deemed appropriate. Keep monopolies from happening, tamp down greediness that turns into recklessness, etc. My frustration is when I say "smaller government" its equated automatically to we're going to have less regulation. When there are a multitude of ways to shrink government.

I cannot watch the video, as my sound card is dead (well, I can watch it, but can hear nothing), and, believe it or not, it is not that I am not as enlightened as you, it is simply that I disagree with the assessment when looking at the whole picture of the socio-political evolution. Is your fear warranted? No more or less than some group kyvetching about their rights being stripped, yet you openly mock them for doing the exact same thing that you are doing.

P.S. Sorry about the double quote... No clue how that happened.

You cant view the video but you can look into what anarcho capitalism is and then discuss the merits of what I am saying once you have an understanding of it, yet rather than do that you choose to say a bunch of irrelevant stuff to the topic, I would suggest this makes you no different than the folk I called sheep whom you think I am mocking.

Once again, I know what it means. I disagree with the assessment that it is a lead pipe certainty that this is what it is because you deem it so, because you allow your argument to be framed by the extremes of libertarianistic theory; I just choose to read others views, as I know what I think, and the only way I could ever alter my perception And, once again, if everyone chose to frame their arguments only by the extreme views, lifestyles, or practices of those they disagree with, it is embarrassingly easy to make anyone look like monsters, set to destroy the very foundations of your way of life. I didn't enter this mud puddle until you and your ditto heads started to become insulting to those who don't agree with you and called you out on it. You call me a member of the sheep? You bleat louder than most, but refuse to listen when the other herd tells you to beware of the wolf in your midst. All I am asking is for you to continue putting interesting points up for others to digest and discuss, and keep the clique-ish, faux enlightened diatribe to a minimum; that crap serves this site absolutely nothing, because it just drives the people who want true discourse away and gives you what you seemingly want: extremists shouting blame at one another.

Then present the ideals, and discuss them, because so far in this thread for reasons I dont know that I understand, you have failed to do that, you are more concerned with my use of the term sheep than you are of the ideals which you claim to understand.

If I am wrong about those people, they should show me I am wrong by doing the same.

However I don't think I am, and their silence is deafening.

I know I no longer attempt debate around here anymore for precisely this reason. Too many insults and defamation going on in the midst of them that ruins it. I pretty much just say my piece and leave it at that now.

What exactly would you like me to call these people then? Because they support something that is essentially anarchy and either they dont know it or are willing participants, which would make them something even worse than sheep.

Lol. It's a universal law. All people think that everyone else's farts stink while their farts smell absolutely delicious.
