Auto Clicker For Mouse

Recommended Posts

OK Guys here's the deal. My Wife works on weekends for an online Customer Service Co. called Live Ops. It's a work from home deal that pays her to take orders from infomercials and things of that nature. They have a schedule rollout certain times of the week and you have to click on the time blocks to reserve that specific time to work. These are 30 minute blocks. If she wants to work 2 hours on Saturday afternoon, then she would try to click on 4 -30 minute blocks for the times available. Problem is, they're so many agents, these blocks often disappear in a matter of seconds. Some of the agents were talking about a program called auto clicker....mouse clicker....mouserobot or something along those lines. Apparently this program does the clicking a whole lot faster than a human ever could. Does any of you guys know about anything like this? Could it be used in a situation like I described?

Yeah, there are a few programs like that out there:

Now, if you need something that will log in to that website at a certain time and click certain blocks on the schedule, that's a whole other can of worms...

There's a package out there called "Selenium" that is used for software testing on websites. Basically, you pre-program it to do what you want on a webpage, the you can execute the script whenever you want to.

So you could set it to login into the site, then click whatever links you want clicked, in whatever order you wanted them clicked. You can also fill out submit forms as part of the script.

I don't know how useful that'd be for you, though. As far as I know, there isn't an easy to way to set a specific time for the script to run (unless you're familiar with Windows Scheduler and shell scripts...). And it sounds like you don't really need to automate logging into the site, and just need something to click a link faster than you can.

But hey, it might be worth a shot.
