Obama's Fault?

A few years ago I read an article that Venezuela President Hugo Chavez said the United States had weapon of mass destruction that can change the weather and create earthquakes. He blamed the earthquake in Haiti on the U.S. testing their new device. Now years later, yahoo has an article claiming these same ideas and the Obama had hurricane Sandy made to help his chances during the election. Some articles have also criticized Obama that the reactions to help the states that were hurt by this storm was too fast. If Obama did create this storm, he would have had a plan in place to help victims already in place. Take it like you will. I don't think this kind of weapon exist, then again there are several things happening around me that I'll never know about.

Here is where Chavez talked about it:
Hugo Chavez Mouthpiece Says U.S. Hit Haiti With 'Earthquake Weapon'

Published January 21, 2010
FoxNews.com

The United States apparently possesses an "earthquake weapon" that set off the catastrophic quake in Haiti and killed 200,000 innocents. Don't believe it's true? Just ask Hugo Chavez.
Citing an alleged report from Russia's Northern Fleet, the Venezuelan strongman's state mouthpiece ViVe TV shot out a press release saying the 7.0 magnitude Haiti quake was caused by a U.S. test of an experimental shockwave system that can also create "weather anomalies to cause floods, droughts and hurricanes."
The station's Web site added that the U.S. government's HAARP program, an atmospheric research facility in Alaska (and frequent subject of conspiracy theories), was also to blame for a Jan. 9 quake in Eureka, Calif., and may have been behind the 7.8-magnitude quake in China that killed nearly 90,000 people in 2008.
What's more, the site says, the cataclysmic ruin in Haiti was only a test run for much bigger game: the coming showdown with Iran.
The ultimate goal of the test attack in Haiti, the report reads, is the United States' "planned destruction of Iran through a series of earthquakes designed to topple the current Islamic regime."
The story has since been taken down from the Venezuelan Web site, but a Google cache of the charges remains intact.
Click here to see the report (Spanish) | Click here to see the report (English)
The publication of the story came just days after Chavez himself accused the U.S. of using the earthquake as an excuse to "invade and militarily occupy Haiti," a nation so poor that its entire economy is based on foreign aid — particularly from the U.S.
"The empire (the U.S.) is taking Haiti over the bodies and tears of its people," he said at a press conference.
"I read that 3,000 soldiers are arriving, Marines armed as if they were going to war. They are occupying Haiti undercover."
By week's end, some 16,000 U.S. troops are expected to be providing humanitarian assistance in Haiti, where they have taken control of the only working airport and are coordinating relief efforts on the ground.

Well I don't know if you guys saw the article, but the U.S. has actually developed a laser weapon they can use. The article said it will be in use in 2 years. There is also word that the U.S. has a weapon once invented by the Nazis, where sound waves can be directed so that it can fired at opposing troops disorienting them and forcing them to drop their weapons and fall to the ground. It's touted as one of the most less than lethal weapon out there.

It's amazing how these things can come around.

So what does the Federal government do in a situation like this? Do they allow voters to go to other polling stations to vote? If so how do they figure out if the person is how they say and registered to vote? Would polling stations have a national data base? This could become a huge mess when taking into account the number of points New York is, as part of the Electoral College? I believe I read New York is worth 29 points. Taking into account how many points it takes to win the election at 270, carrying New York that's over 11% needed to win. I'm not real sure but if I am looking into things correctly, a Candidate could win the election bay carrying the top 10 states in the Electoral College. How crazy is that?

So now, because Obama has done a good job dealing with a disaster, it's actually because he has some secret weather weapon he is unleashing on his own people just in time to try and swing the election?

Oh wait, never mind. He's actually a Muslim from Kenya, so it makes perfect sense.

A Kenyan Muslim with the power to control the weather.

Sounds like the next X-Men character.

As unreal as this may sound, Storm, who well can create storms, is from Kenya.

What kills me... there is plenty of ACTUAL stuff to blister both these guys over...

Why make up stupid crap?
If you looked at one of my first posts in this thread, you would see that this isn't something that was made up by a party in order to make Obama look bad. This original idea was created by Hugo Chavez after the earthquake in Haiti. It really is quite odd how this idea piggy-backed a couple of years later.

My honest opinion about this is that Obama has done so much of what they wanted and not been so much of what they were critical about that they have to make stuff up in order to scare people away from him

If anything it's the Liberals who should be angry

Ok, let me know if I'm people's ignore list in here, because the Republicans didn't plant this story to make Obama look bad. Hugo Chavez is the one who originally brought up this idea.

Some people are saying Obama acted to fast during Hurricane Sandy that almost looked like an admission of guilt on how things were handled in Libya. Whatever the case, I'll be glad when this election is over, or if Obama wins, the next 4 years to be over.

Doesn't matter to me, it just proves the point that you can't blame something on the Republicans that wasn't their fault. Why is it so hard for some on this board to look at something objectively? Everything bad said towards Obama is automatically the Republicans fault. Then people will take things that were obviously Obama and his Administrations fault, and cover it up or devalue it, by saying that "so and so" did much worse things. This board is quite silly to be honest. Heck, most of the Obama followers can't even answer a simple question without some how relating it to the French and Indian War, the invention of microwave popcorn, and the first test tube baby. People hope by throwing all this useless information into the mix that they no longer have to answer the question at hand.

It's pretty basic, Hugo Chavez who is the President of Venezuela commented like 2 years ago that the U.S. had some kind of weather making machine and that they test it out on Haiti by making an earthquake. So it's pretty hard to blame the Republican party for making that statement now with hurricane Sandy.

Good call...I'm sorry but to me your less of a human than one ever could be. When you made a joke, when I asked you how you would feel if one of the people that died in Libya was one of your sons, and you joked about jacking off in a shower and killing your "babies," You became one of the biggest low life's I have ever seen. How anyone on this board can respect you after that I have no clue. You are one pitiful person.

Why do you keep saying this? Why can you not keep on point? In post your saying it's Republicans that are behind what is being said, yet time and time against I show it isn't the Republicans fault, Hugo Chavez had already said it. The you call Chavez crazy, and go back to blaming the Republicans.

Wake up! CHAVEZ SAID THE UNITED STATES HAS A WEATHER MACHINE TWO YEARS AGO. Regardless if you think Chavez is crazy, he said this, the Republicans did not. WTF, am I the only one that can understand this?

Here is a video where Jesse Ventura talks about it:

http://current.com/community/91989165_chavez-and-russia-u-s-used-haarp-earthquake-weapon-on-haiti-as-described-by-jesse-ventura-s-conspiracy-theory-full-video.htm

Apparently the Russians believe the U.S. has a weapon like this as well:
Chavez cited a report from Russia’s Northern Fleet. According to the report, the U.S. Navy made a mistake with a secret “earthquake weapon” and the result was the Haitian earthquake. The Russians believe the intended target was Iran. “Though Russian Northern Fleets’ report was not confirmed by official sources, the comments attracted special attention in some US and Russian media outlets including Fox news and Russia Today,” writes Pragmatic Witness blog. “Russia Today’s report said that Moscow has also been accused of possessing and utilizing such weapons.”
I must have missed something, I didn't see anyone in those articles blaming the Republicans. Get off of it, that boats already sailed.
