Car Audio question (sirius addition)

So I have a 2008 Ford Escape and I know we could add sirius to the stereo (not currently build in, but there is a 'Sat' button.)

I was thinking I could use this http://www.amazon.co..._pr_product_top, but I'm unsure if I'd need anything else. Cruchfield tells me that I need $170 adaptor, but this Amazon listing makes me think I wouldn't need anything else. (What I'm looking at is this "Interface cable combines power, audio, and control through a single connection providing a direct audio connection to a headunit."

Anyone have any ideas?

the accord i have now is a 2004, it came with XM, luckily the XM best of sirius package came out by the time i got the car so I had nfl radio and stuff... i cancelled it about 18 months ago, got tired of calling in for cheaper bill and started using my ipod more... but i do kinda miss it...

I'm not positive on the original question, but FYI there is no reason to ever pay full price for a Sirius subscription. I got a free 6mo with my new truck and I was going to let it expire, and they called me twice a day until I finally got another 6mo for $30. Most any service rep will offer you discounts immediately, and according to the Internet, you can get them down to as low as $5 for a couple months.

$15/mo isn't worth it to me, but 5 is. Sirius is nice.
