If a person finds another so offensive and flame baiting just "Ignore". I do not use the thing but there are posts and responses I skim over or skip. I'm not screaming "censorship" or "First Amendment Freedom of Speech" or anything like that but a person could exercise their own, perhaps, freedom to read and respond ("Don't Feed the Animals"). Also... the youtube clip of "Lighten up, Francis" tossed in once in awhile. How about this for food for thought... On another board I visit, there are only a couple Admins and they have at times issued "time outs", when people get too far over the line, usually with the cutting personal insult and childish flame crap. Ban them for a few days or week or something until the composure returns. Let's be honest... there are times when stuff is going on off the board or we post in the heat of the moment and something comes out that should not have. Also, things can be intended one way (in jest) and interpreted another. Took me forever to figure out what the little ninja was for. Perhaps a probationary return. And ignore the guy or anyone else if you don't like what he is saying. The flaming and piling on is childish and only makes matters worse. Anyone seen an entire board go down because of the flaming and flame wars? I have. You log on and... nothing. Then everyone on it is left out in the cold going "wha' happened? Where'd everyone go?" [/quote] A month or so ago he was in the Political Forum. Said something to Go (Ryan). Go banned him. Lewdog sent me a PM telling me about it, asking if he could come back. Go gave him a second chance and he kept his act clean for a bit but began a rapid descent into craziness.. I'm not sure if it had anything to do with it, but I know he was threatening posters with suicide for "being mean to him" in the political forum.
