Bush has acknowledged many times that our enemy is a minority of the Muslim peoples and that there are many hardworking, peaceful believers of Islam both in the USA and throughout the world...we get no such acknowledgement from Jihadists... The people who give us news are trying to make money. So what do they do? They give us drama, just like the shows on television, or the sports that you watch. How much drama is there in people dying in those places you mentioned. Of course, it's still bad, and there is news coverage of it, it is just not headlined. When bombs kill people in London, it is very rare, very dramatic. People will tune in to watch, a lot more than showing people dying in a third world country again. They got more than OK coverage, they got all the coverage. On the other hand, it's the same thing that my little boy says. Daddy, this is the bad news. And why does Bush get all of the blame for what others do ? Why do you ignore the fact that Saddam could have avoided war ...or that more people are dying because of the insurgents/terrorist/extremist than because of what Americans do ?
