Jason Posted April 2, 2013 Report Share Posted April 2, 2013 With Ludwick out potentially until the All Star Break, what would be your "every day" starting lineup? Here's mine: 1. Choo CF 2. Paul/Heisey LF 3. Phillips 2B 4. Votto 1B 5. Bruce RF 6. Frazier 3B 7. Cozart SS 8. Hannigan/Mesoraco C 9. Pitcher Now, you may think moving Votto from 3 to 4 is crazy, but here is my reasoning. Choo was brought in because he could get on base. If he does, and or Paul/Heisey/BP also gets on, he still bats in the first inning with runners on. If no one gets on ahead of Votto, if he hits third, he comes up with no one on and 2 out. Even if he gets a hit, whoever is batting 4th has 2 outs. If Votto bats 4th and no one gets on, Votto leads off an inning, and that'sd more chances to get him in. What would be your lineup? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
