July 11, 200520 yr comment_113041 Mayo averaged 30 pts a game as a freshman on the varsity team.. this past season his average was around 28.. He has the total package.. His teammate, Billy Walker is ranked somewhere around 4 or 5 in the country as well.. He's also a junior.. Walker averaged 22 a game and can do it all as well..They will probably go as a tandem to whatever collage they decide on.. UC, Ohio State and Kentucky have been mentioned.... Report
July 11, 200520 yr comment_113157 Jason, go to www.bearcatnews.com and follow the links on the left of the page for info on OJ and every other bearcat recruit. Check out the forum also, it has some nice info which you could not find elsewhere and also the posters on the forum are all professionals (types). Some of the posters are family members of current/past players. It is said that OJ and Bill Walker (teammate) will be a package deal to a school and could also throw in a third player in Keenan Ellis. All 3 are Div. I recruits and could possibly go to the same school. OJ and Walker def. will go to the same school. Interesting that they always list Florida A&M as a college choice. It has also been mentioned that they both like UC but ONLY if Huggins is there. OJ can truly do it all but Bill Walker needs to work on his perimeter shooting. He is getting better from 17 ft. on in but in order to take his game to where he would like it to be, he needs to be consistent from the outside. Apparently he has as much athleticism as anyone and throws down monster dunks. Happy reading! **Edit--Bill Walker has stated he will NOT go to OSU. Kentucky is not in the running for OJ or Bill Walker I don't beleive, only Keenan Ellis as he grew up in KY. I could be wrong but this is what my understanding is. Report

Mayo is badass and has been called the best highschooler ever next to LeBron. The reason he got so much pub early is because he is that good. He will be just fine in the NBA and hopefully he WILL come to UC along with his teammates and win a championship for coach Huggins before he is run off by the evil feminazi Zimpher bitch.
