CincyInDC
I just started playing Ingress in earnest. It's an augmented reality game. Think: smartphone-gps-helper capture the flag but much more complex. To get anything done game-wise you have to be physically close to the real-life object (portal) so I kind of think this game wouldn't work as well in a car-oriented community. I'm not convinced I like the game yet. Leveling up takes a long time and currently my actions are limited because all the portals in the area are of a much higher level than me. Tigris
Kinda like geocaching!?
T-Dub
These location-based games are pretty interesting. There are a couple of zombie ones (shocking, I know) that make a walk to the store a lot more fun. I have yet to find one that's actually a good game, however. CincyInDC
The game reminds me of geocaching, yes, but there is no prize unless you count items you get from "hacking a portal." BTW, if "hacking a portal" piques your interest, you might just be a nerd.
