ValleyBengal
Do you have the higher tier? I noticed they removed it when I went to the higher tier of bandwidth (I moved from the 50 mB/s to the 120 mB/s tier).

I noticed they removed it when I went to the higher tier of bandwidth (I moved from the 50 mB/s to the 120 mB/s tier). i was on the 22, which with boost whatever was 30 when they did it... they recently for free bumped me from 30 to 50... its crazy how much netflix uses... we watch 3-4 hours of netflix HD shows each night while going to sleep after kids are in bed.. plus my downloading and kids both on ipads on youtube and watching reds or whatever.. i was shocked how much it used.. When did they do that? I have Comcast...although I think my internet bandwidth usage will not be close to yours... 5-6 months ago i think... ValleyBengal
Netflix is a hog, especially on HD. You have to figure an HD movie runs about 3.8MBit/s, so one one hour of watching is about 1.5 GB of data. Kids typically don't care about HD, so you might limit their use to SD only. We came out much lower in the end. SD runs about a quarter of HD. Now that the cap is off, it's a moot point, but something to keep in mind if they turn it back on.
