|Elflocko| Posted September 7, 2013 Report Share Posted September 7, 2013 Oh yes, they're watching you, and there's not a thing you can do about it. Here's my advice: Stop Sharing Movies and Music. Now As in immediately. Quash your indignation and your opinion on file sharing and just stop doing it, because if they (MPAA or RIAA) put you in their sights and take you to court they will ruin your fucking life to the tune of hundreds of thousands of dollars. There are plenty of stories out there about the mother of 3 who got taken to court and now owes $350,000 for sharing a few dozen songs. You are already on their radar via your ISP. If you're independently wealthy or have the means with which to fight those organizations because it is a cause in which you believe, then have at it. Otherwise, I highly recommend you just stop. However, if you insist on continuing to file share, at least learn to encrypt your network traffic via TOR, Onion, or purchase a connection with a VPN service...
