Take out Gio's spectacular run, in which the oline deserves no credit (other than forcing Gio to do it), the Bengals ypc Thursday night is 3.7ypc. They only ran for as many yards as they did because of the # of carries they had. They really didn't run the ball well, haven't for the majority of the season. But you can't take out his spectacular run. Just like you can't take the completed long balls Andy throws from his statistics. I'm not taking away Gio's best run from HIS stats, I'm taking it away from the oline, as they had nothing to do with it, and in the statistical world, its called an outlier. It skews the stats from Thursday. Any rational person gets that. That said, if you take out Dalton's scrambles, the run stats from Thursday look a little more respectable.
