Jason
I have a Mac Pro that is about 2 years old. My monitor (a Mac monitor from 2006 or so) died this morning, so I need a new one. From what I am reading, I'm not sure the Thunderbolt monitor is compatible with my current tower, but the non-thunderbolt might be. It is right on the upper end of my price range though. I am looking on BestBuy.com and have found one that I like: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/27-widescreen-flat-panel-ips-led-hd-monitor/7008795.p?id=1218821195800&skuId=7008795&st=pcmcat143700050048_categoryid$abcat0509000&cp=1&lp=1#tab=overview This one seems closest to the Apple monitors in specs, but costs a couple hundred dollars less. Has anyone used this monitor? Can anyone recommend a different/better one (preferably under $900)? Speaker quality is a non-concern, I already have good Bose speakers connected. Thanks. |Elflocko|
That one actually looks pretty good for the price. As an alternative, I've actually had really good luck with Dell monitors believe it or not...
khwiii
Asus really does make some of the best monitors out there. What is your general purpose for day to day? I hear GREAT things about Qnix monitors out of Korea. http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-QNIX-QX2710-LED-Evolution-27-2560x1440-WQHD-PLS-Computer-Monitor-Matte-/121117252582?pt=Computer_Monitors&hash=item1c33269be6
