-GoBengals-
Currently my wife has a core 2 duo 2.4ghz 8gb ram. She's does all of her photo editing on it I want to replace it with something faster. I am going to get her a Mac min decked out quad core i7 16 gb ram. Ssd. And a 28" 4k monitor. So for occasional editing and everyday use, how much faster is the dual core i5/i7 MacBook Air ? Would it be fine to edit while on vacation, faster than her current machine? Thoughts or advice? |Elflocko|
Go for the Air. The speed difference is negligible and if you're traveling the Air is the way to go...

I am poor. Just planning ahead. She has decided to get the 13" non retina. Which is cool. I can buy cheap and upgrade HD and ram after.
