Not bad for the Bengals list. Fills in depth pretty nicely.  I've got to watch Dee Ford since a bunch of mocks lately have him going to us (I think Daniel Jeremiah's from nfl.com had Ford as of yesterday).  I thought I've read that he was more of an undersized DE, and might be better suited as a 3-4 OLB.  If we pick him is he going to play RDE or transition to SLB when Harrison departs?  Just wondering where people are penciling him in.

BTW, these things are fun but I'd love to see a few mocks where STL or ATL trade back.  That seems to be the general consensus as to what is going to happen.  If #2 or #6 trade back, it shakes a lot up going forward...

As many times as the DE/OLB swing guy has failed, I wonder if they will continue with that project?  But I would not be unhappy with Ford.

I think SJB may be more of a safety than a CB.

West is good.

I'd prefer Martin at center.

I'd be ok with a "developmental" QB if we sign a vet free agent.

it sounds like Guenther's not a big fan of it and as he has said to marvin numerous times, it takes at least a year for a guy to convert.

But if a guy offers you snaps as a pass-rush specialist only while he "converts" that may not be such a bad thing.  What we don't have on this team right now is a true edge speed-rusher.  MJ is great against the run but has NEVER been a speed rusher.  Even if it's only on 2nd and 3rd and long, that's a role that could add immediate impact to this defense (one that has been sorely lacking for too long, and no place has that been more noticeable than in our big (esp. playoff) games.

Everyone gave the Seahawks grief for "reaching" on Bruce Irvin.  It was a "reach" until he worked out perfectly for their plans.

I hope Geno comes back 100% and healthy.  If he does, that edge, speed-rushing "role" player would have an even greater impact.

I'd have no problem taking Ford (though not at 24) and keeping him a DE.  I don't think they need to make him a 4-3 SLB though.  1) no need to add a position change to a rookie and 2) the Bengals simply don't highly value the SLB position.  They don't play a significant number of snaps in the system.

The clowns taking the second coming of Tim Couch, Johnny Manziel, over Clowney is hysterical.  And I could well see it happening.  If Clowney would still be there when the Cleveland Clowneys are on the board, they could trade down a little for a lot and still end up with a quality, better player than Manziel.

Not sold on Ford with Ha Ha Clinton-Dix on the board.

And like how they have the Center, Stork showing up.  I would really like to see him here.

Some say undersized but so was Blair Bush.
