Zins30
Let's hope for a repeat performance (minus a trade for another 1st rounder)... @dpbrugler: Hard to believe that at this time 2 years ago, #Browns had 2 1st round picks and neither are still on the roster (T-Rich, Weeden) #Heckert
alleycat
Cleveland coach Pettine saying there isn't a QB in the draft that could beat out Hoyer. He's right, and IMO, Hoyer showed real promise last year. He's no Andy Dalton mind you, but he showed promise...

It would be amusing if one of our annual 'make a scrub look like a star' games on defense made Cleveland skip on drafting a QB. And this time they only scored 17 rather than 45 points. One against Minnesota who had the worst D in the league. I'll wait to see him against the ravens, steelers and us at full strength before crowning him. Zins30
@ProFootballTalk: Browns spent $100,000 on advanced study of quarterbacks http://t.co/993MNRnge4 Looks like they went all out! The Browns, of course, understood exactly how their fans would react. How do we know? In the hours leading up to the draft, owner Jimmy Haslam told ESPN's Sal Paolantonio about a recent night out for dinner in Cleveland. As he walked down the street, a homeless man recognized him, caught his attention and said: "Draft Manziel." http://espn.go.com/blog/afcnorth/post/_/id/78908/inside-slant-jimmy-haslams-homeless-fan My take on it: Homeless man from above now has a $100k salary and is an assistant GM. |SF2|
Ozzie Newsome should quit using early draft picks on Alabama guys. Kind of hard to argue against two Superbowl rings. By the way, fuck the Ravens.

Oldcat
and they missed out on Stevie Johnson. They probably could have just taken Johnson yesterday instead of that next years 4th rounder.
