By a Red, or by anybody?

they billed it has the 100yr history of all of baseball.

also pointing out that it encompassed all 18 of his career starts.

So.. Armor up Hamilton and have him start leaning into the slow stuff like Choo? Assuming it's too early to talk about trading for a leadoff hitter.

We've got to give him a lot more time, but hopefully this won't turn into another Deion Sanders experiment.

Looks like Heisey gets the start today.     :32:

edit: Assuming it stops raining

Doesn't sound like he'll get more than a couple of starts before Latos returns? Hopefully.

Also, worth pointing out that Heisey hit .310 with an OBP of .322, 6 HR, 12 RBI in Arizona.  Ludwick? .250, OBP .276, 1 HR, 5 RBI's.

So, I mean, naturally Ludwick is your opening day starter right? Because winning is secondary to your GM not losing face for making  a bad deal.

Starting to wonder how much control Dusty had over his lineups...

Looking at the schedule it seems like Simon is gonna get the start against the Mets on the 6th, unless they decide to start Cingrani on short rest. Don't see them doing that though.

Latos would then have until the 15th against pittsburgh before Simon would need to make another start. Barring an injury to a pitcher of course.

Talk about being thrown into the fire to start the year.

19 of their first 25 games are against teams that made the playoffs last year and 13 of the 19 are against pitt and st louis.

It's crazy but April is going to mean alot this year.

First pitch is supposed to be in 2 minutes.

The game was supposed to be aired on MLBN. Sucks that I won't get to see it now.

Just another reason to hate Wisconsin. Like the forecast for snow tonight and tomorrow

wasn't enough ... :22:

Hamilton just stood & watched back-to-back-to-back fastballs whiz right down the center of the plate.  First one was outside, then 1-2-3 & sityerassdown.

:thwack1:

Called the collision!

Not that it mattered.

Ugh.

Matt Adams should see a big fine for that. He had no chance of catching it anyway.

I thought Homer would respond better to being given a 3 Run lead.

Tied 3-3 heading to the bottom of the 4th.

GD.  If we lose after leaving all these runners on base I may put this remote through the TV.  Is there anyone that can hit with RISP????????

I need 1 runs here dammit.

I just need to stop watching when they play the Cardinals.  They do better against them when I don't/can't watch.

How is that ruled a single? It didn't touch Hamilton's glove...it should have either been a ground ruled double or a home run. Don't know what the rule is here.

Are you complaining? lol

Well, without replay it would have been ruled an out.

They only awarded him a Single because Bruce caught the ball and it was ruled an out.

No way it should have been ruled a Homer. None. And no way the dude would have made

it to 2nd if Bruce came up firing. It was the right call, all things considered.

Frazier with the 3 run Jack! :headbang:

Sorry, delayed reaction ...
