Enon Bengal
A little bit of the back ground story, the wife always got the hand me down computer in the house. I got a bonus check last month so we went and picked her out a nice system. I'm not a big fan of Windows 8 but we got WoW installed and her email up and running. The problem were having is with Facebook. When she gets on her Facebook page, videos start to load and her screen locks up. I'm wondering if there is a Facebook setting that will allow her to pick and choose which videos she wants to watch, kinda like the Youtube videos here. I'm not for sure the videos are the issue, that's just been my observation the couple of times I've seen it happen, thanks.
Go Skins
I have had a Windows 8 laptop since last August and never had that issue come up with Facebook, and that is using multiple browsers.

Maybe I'll try installing Chrome for her and see if that helps, thanks...
-GoBengals-
maybe missing a web plugin or something?!?!.. while there IS a setting to not auto-play videos in facebook settings, any computer from the last 8 years should run anything facebook can dish out... Enon Bengal
Finally got around to installing Chrome on the wife's new desktop, took all of about three minutes. Facebook now loads stress free...
