He missed a field goal. Oh well. He's one of the best In the NFL Duh-Fuck? Isn't he like 5 of his last 11 kicks ?
Bleeds Orange
You have to assume Sharp is the kicker next week. Why should we assume that? Gotta give Nugent a chance to feel good about himself, even if it costs you the season.
BengalRep85-9
Just remember how long they let Brad St. Louis snap the ball 5 feet over the holders head. Nuge is going nowhere anytime soon and it will continue to cost us games, a la the St. Louis situation. The best predictor of future behavior is past behavior... Gary
OK.. So yah.... I was wondering why Nugent was here instead of Josh Brown that year when Nugent got injured, but now I am FUMING... There are so many kickers not drawing a paycheck that are leaps and bounds ahead of him.. If I fugked up at work as bad as nugent did here then I would be fired... SO FIRE HIS ASS!!!! Randle P McMurphy
He's been hurting this team all year!! The guy had 4 misses all of last year and he has to have close to double that already this year and we've only played 5 games!! Rob Bironis had a better day kicking today than Mike Nugent! :ninja: :ninja: :ninja: :ninja: :ninja: Too soon!? I'm kidding folks!!! Probably going to hell also! ThurmanMunster
We didn't sign Nugent instead of Brown. We offered Brown the same contract as Nugent and Brown turned it down.
New Jersey Bengal
Quinn Sharp. He outkicked Nugent two straight pre-seasons. Agree 1000% I have clamoring for Sharp. He has an awesome leg and will lead the league in touchbacks if he was our kicker. He can also punt in a pinch..
|Bunghole|
The dude is a kicker, and therefore replaceable. Everyone knows it and so does he. He's gone. You simply cannot miss that many kicks and expect to keep your job in the NFL. Sorry. We will have a new kicker by the end of the week.

He can easily be replaced and everyone knows it. It's not like he's a starter in a skill position with a draft pick invested in him where we may hesitate to release him. Le Tigre
Cut the defense while we are at it. They did have two leads, at the end of regulation and beginning of OT...provided by the same kicker. Just sayin'
