I know it's wishful think but I was one of the many clamoring for Zimmer to be named HC aftger last year. He is doind a good job in Minnesota with whjat they have and I was sorry to see him go. If by some miracle MB gets rid of Marvin Lewis who would you like to see as new HC?..

I would be ecstatic if we got Bowles

Bowles is actually lowest on my preferred list. I'd like Rex Ryan above all. I guarantee this team would play loose in big games. I'd also be intrigued by Art Briles. If Dalton cannot succeed in his offense, he never will anywhere. But Rex Ryan # 1 for sure. He'd never take this job though.

Rex Ryan? You do see how bad the Jets are don't you?

I don't know.. but not Rex Ryan..

Great defensive mind, but that is all.

He inherited a great offensive line and defense and was good for a couple years. His team has become worse and worse over the years...

I am vomiting as I am typing this but for me the guy that I think can get these guys to be professionals would be Cowher

Never happen though

Agree on all..

Would be awesome, I am vomiting a little and it will never happen...

The two years his team actually had talent to go with a marginal QB, they went to the AFC Championship game. Say what you want, but when the talent is there, so are the results. You have to get him a competent offensive OC who is committed to the running game though.

Rex Ryan is not a head coach....guy has no idea what his own team does on the offense side. That would be a terrible hire. I'll take him in a nano second as defensive coordinator though

I think you're wrong. He knows how to motivate a team. We have a QB that we can get  by with. He will demand that we run the ball often and effectively. He will also build the defense into a top-notch unit, especially with the pieces this team already has in place (Geno, Iloka, Burfict, Dunlap, Dennard, etc.). Hopefully he wises up and learns from the things he did wrong in his first stint. But I do know that he will get the most out of what he has, something Marvin has failed to do.

Sign me up for anybody.

I feel like if we got rid of Marvin quickly if we missed the playoffs this year, we'd have as good a shot as any at Harbaugh, realistically. He has TALENT to work with here. Just clean the entire fucking coaching staff save MAYBE Simmons(cause I like him). Then get a bunch of fucking yes men and people who'd follow his every whim. Nobody in the FO would be man enough to stand to a coach like Harbaugh, ESPECIALLY if he was successful.

Let him fucking run it, man. I'd rather have the person with total control have brass goddamn balls than someone like Marvin who can't even locate his.

For what it's worth, I've heard that Rex has an offer of over $4M per year to go do TV next year.

I've also heard that he's pretty into the idea and wants to at least give it a try for a few years...

There's a school of thought that he ends up as the next John Madden/Jon Gruden and just kicks back and lives the good life talking about football, living stress-free and making a ton of money.

I'd love him as a DC and he is friends with Marvin, but he'd be crazy to accept coordinator money with his other opportunities.

Unless he loves football. We wouldn't hire someone like that after these easy years with Marvin.

He's like the Coach Cal of the NFL. Except he doesn't do shit with all the talent he collects

Last week Marvin was a "genius". This week there is ANOTHER thread calling for his firing, AGAIN.

Shitty QB. Shitty Defense. Shitty OC and DC. And shitty HC.

I'm telling ya, shittiest division leader in the NFL.
