> > During the eighties, the UN was concerned with Saddam Hussein's use of chemical weapons. Thus, on 3/21/1986, the Security Council President,
"speaking on behalf of the Security Council," stated that the Council
members were "profoundly concerned by the unanimous conclusion of the
specialists that chemical weapons on many occasions have been used by
Iraqi forces against Iranian troops...[and] the members of the Council strongly condemn this continued use of chemical weapons in clear violation of the Geneva Protocol of 1925 which prohibits the use in war of chemical
weapons" (S/17911 and Add. 1, 21 March 1986).

-the United States voted AGAINST the issuing of this statement.

seems like the kind of hard liner that would say stuff like this:

"Ok so Fallujah has become an Icon to resistance against Amercia and a haven for Al Queda. Most of the 300,000 citizens have fled the city. My Question "why does it still exist on a map ???" Drop pamphlets giving all residents 48 hours to flee. Have check points set up on the roads to check the people as they leave to look for Zarqawi and others we are searching for, then say in the pamplet "every citizen staying behind will be assumed to be a terrorist and thus you run the high risk of being bombed" Then let the B-2's roar, ...... In WWII we carpet bombed Dresden in Germany for weeks and it was very effective. The problem now is that we have to fight War (which is brutal) in a nice way with considerations of the nightly news and internet pics. I saw we heavlily bomb the entire city, if Mosques get hit so be it, and then you can send in troops to scrape through the rubble."

" I understand it would be hard, but life has very hard decisions sometimes. I am against not warning the civilians, but after giving them notice, it is necessary to heavily dessimate the town with air power, it will save U.S. troop lives and send a strong message to future towns wishing to cause the same problem. You can't fight bloody war with kid gloves. I mean what is war, it is a tactic of domination through ending others lives. That city is becoming a honeycomb of Al Queda, and it is time to give them a small tour of what Ground Zero at the WTC looked like. "

and my personal favorite:

"I believe Bush would produce a stronger economy, But the most important issue to me is the Military and having a Commander in Chief who isn't afraid to pull the trigger....I actually think we should be reloading for Iran and maybe with a Bush reelection we can"
