COB
Niners deny it, but rumors are flying (bleacher report, blogs, my imagination), that they are looking to deal human tattoo canvas Colin Kaepernick. He's lantern-jawed. He's also kind of the anti-Andy, different in every way. I say pursue him with single mindedness. Throw draft picks at them. Throw starting players at them. Throw Andy at them. Just get me Colin Kaepernick!

VonBlade
Throw lots of things at a team to get a player we chose not to draft?
COB
Throw lots of things at a team to get a player we chose not to draft? Yes. I like his game, I think the guy we drafted instead of him was drafted for and by a specific offensive coordinator, who has now moved on. The fit for our guy isn't what it was when Gruden was here. Kaepernick has a better arm, and a much better running game. He supposedly doesn't see downfield all that well. Just my opinion, but Andy doesn't seem to see downfield all that well anymore either. I think it would be a big upgrade. I heard the Eagles are after him, we'll see if Mike and Marvin are even interested but I hope they are.

Bengals1181
no thanks to Kaep. Before the 2011 draft I thought he had the highest ceiling but was the most raw. That remains true today. If Harbaugh can't get him to where he needs to be, I have no faith that Zampese can.
